DJ Mac Playlist - Acoustic EDM

This post will finish off the week. I've been in study mode the past couple days and have been trying to find some solid music to listen to. I definitely recommend checking out the Above & Beyond Group Therapy set that I've been mentioning in some of these posts. Also, if you're into the newest shit, then I'm sure you've heard of Tropical House. Thero released his first Spring Break Mix and it is absolutely incredible. I've been listening to it almost every day for the past week so make sure to check it out. For everyone that's trying to chill out even more, this is a quick playlist I put together of some acoustic versions of EDM tracks. Some are covers and some have been released by the artists themselves, but this is a great way to listen to EDM in a calmer setting. Enjoy.

Hellberg - The Girl (Ft. Cozi Zuehlsdorff)

This is the newest release from Hellberg called 'The Girl' that just dropped last week. It features some great vocals from Cozi Zuehlsdorff and a unique set of sounds. In the background of the drop there is an interesting crystal bell synth line that gives the track some texture. Check it out.

MS MR - Hurricane (Adventure Club Remix)

Don't get this 'Hurricane' confused with the Halsey track I just posted. This is a completely different song with a wildly different feel. Adventure Club released this remix fairly recently and it drops with some heavy bass. Not as heavy as some of their older tracks, but I definitely enjoyed this one when it dropped.

Fehrplay - Lotus

This is another track I picked up from Above & Beyond's Group Therapy podcast. It's called 'Lotus' by Fehrplay who I believe comes from Norway. This is a beautiful trance track that has a solid chord progression that brings out a feeling of deep energy. Play this one to chill out as it will really absorb you into the vibes.

Halsey - Hurricane (Arty Remix)

This is a sick remix of 'Hurricane' by Halsey. Arty adds some flavor to this track with a nice uplifting synth line that works perfectly with the track's vocals. I heard this one in Above & Beyond's most recent Group Therapy podcast and had to get it. Take a listen.

A Day To Remember - If It Means A Lot To You (Sullivan King Remix)

If you have seen any of my previous posts, you will probably know that I'm a big fan of good alternative rock songs mixed into EDM tracks. This rendition of "If It Means A Lot To You" by Sullivan King absolutely kills the game. There's something about the mix of Jeremy McKinnon's vocals and a solid drop that go hand-in-hand. Check it out.
